Pay-Per-Use AI — One Account, Every Modality
hilens.ai is a pay-per-use AI generation platform. Image (Nano Banana 2), video (Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, HappyHorse 1.1), and editing tools (upscale, inpaint, video enhance, talking photo) all run from a single credit balance. There is no plan to choose, no tier to upgrade, no monthly bill. Top up with a credit pack ($0.99 to $99), see exactly what each generation costs before clicking, and only pay for what you generate.
How pay-per-use AI works
Each model has a published per-generation credit cost. Nano Banana 2 = 12 credits per image. Kling 3.0 video = 61. Veo 3.1 = 88. HappyHorse 1.1 = 137. You buy a pack of credits, click Generate, and the cost is deducted instantly. No surprise charges — the cost is shown before you click. No quota — you control spend by choosing which model and how many generations. No expiration — unused credits stay in your account forever.
Why one account for image + video + editing matters
Most creator workflows mix image generation, video generation, and editing tools. Subscription products force you to pay for each separately — Midjourney for images, Runway for image-to-video, Topaz for upscale, Adobe for inpaint, separate Sora subscription, and so on. hilens.ai consolidates all of these into one credit balance, so the same $5 pack works for any combination across the entire creative pipeline. The cost savings come not just from per-generation pricing but from cutting the number of subscriptions you maintain.
When pay-per-use AI is right for you
You generate 5-200 times per month at irregular cadence — not daily but not rare either. You want to mix image, video, and editing in one workflow. You do not want a monthly bill on your card. You value the option to stop using AI for 3 months without losing money. And the old "subscriptions win at high volume" rule no longer holds for images: at $0.06 per Nano Banana 2 image, hilens stays cheaper than a maxed-out Midjourney quota at every volume, so even heavy daily users come out ahead. Pay-per-use is for everyone — which is most people.

FAQ
Frequently asked
- Are credits the same across image and video models?
- Yes — universal credits. One pack covers Nano Banana 2, Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, HappyHorse 1.1, and all editing tools (upscale, inpaint, erase, outpaint, video enhance, talking photo, lip sync).
- Is there a minimum spend?
- $0.99 Starter pack (100 credits) is the minimum paid commitment. Below that, the 30 free signup credits cover testing. There is no monthly minimum.
- How does pay-per-use compare to API pricing on Replicate or fal.ai?
- Replicate and fal.ai are developer-API products with per-generation billing too — but they target engineers building integrations. hilens.ai targets prosumers via web UI: same per-generation model, but with a studio interface, model presets, batch generation, and creative tools. Per-credit price is competitive; the value-add is the UI and workflow.
- Can I integrate hilens via API?
- API access is on the roadmap for Pro / Enterprise customers. Contact sales for early access. Today the platform is web-UI only.
- What if I want to budget a fixed monthly amount?
- You can simulate a monthly subscription by buying one pack a month — e.g., a $5 Plus pack on the 1st of each month. The difference vs a true subscription: unused credits roll forward forever instead of expiring.
- Are commercial rights included?
- Yes for paid-pack credits. The 30 free signup credits are personal-use only. Once you buy any pack, all subsequent generations are commercially licensed.
